continued Mass Murder in our Midst

The seven women were Mary Ellis, Gertrude McCaller, Dianis LaFloure, Orine Fuoyk, Sarah Quistus, Iona Smithfield, and Candice Hetcher. They were all between the ages of 14 and 25. Three were reported to be prostitutes. The first victim was Mary Ellis, who had been renting the room in which they were found for several months. Her body remains relatively unscared which would suggest that her death was the easiest compared to the rest but this statement would be false. While she was the first to be caught, it is believed that she may have been the fifth to die. Her hands were coated with a deadly poison that is believed to be the cause of her demise. There are rope burns upon both her ankles and feet while beside her lay a strip from her dress that may have been used to silence her during her ordeal. The theory is that she was left alive to see what would be soon to take place.

The second victim is Gertrude McCaller who had just left a local pub to her home when it was believed that she was approached by the murderer. A string of beads were found in an alley that belonged to the young woman, who, since no records of birth or relative can be found, is reported to be 21. She was seduced into the neighboring house where her life was drained from her body. There was very little sign of struggle and her body was than propped up beside the still living Mary.

Dianis LaFloure, daughter of Duke Nafais LaFloure, is believed to be the third victim. The last time she was sited was at eight o'clock with her good friend Hashat Guitard. On her way home from visiting Hashat, she passed through the red lantern district which was a traveled short cut to her father's estate. The murderer approached her, offering an escort home. Within the Belle's At alley, she was knocked unconscious and dragged to the house where the other two victims lay. The upper portion of her dress was stripped from her body and a piece was used as a gag. A thin knife was then inserted into her breast, allowing the blood to poor freely. Dianis struggled against him and broke free, dashing toward the door. He captured her before she reached her destination and was flung to the ground, breaking a tooth and two nails. The knife pierced her lung, causing her to gasp out for air. The murderer then fed upon her and let her limp body fall to the floor. The knife was then removed from Dianis.

Orine Fuoyk, a prostitute familiar with the red lantern district, was the fourth victim in this bloody massacre. Her eyes remained open throughout this slaughter which began with an offer from an unusual stranger. He invited her for a light dousing of sheets and escorted the unknowing Orine to her eventual demise. Seeming unwilling to wait until he entered the room, he asked if she could engage in sexual intercourse within the hallway and she lifted her skirts. Instead of a firm phallus greeting her, her vagina was thrust with a long knife and slashed it in half, blood splattering against the wall. He covered her mouth and she found herself unable to scream as he dragged her to the room, a trail of crimson following. He held her there as she struggled against him in vain-waiting until her body grew faint. Her clothing was then removed and the crest of LaFloure was carved upon what was left of her vagina. Her life then passed with only a bite left as his mark.

Sarah Quistus was the next to be caught in his web of murder. Like Orine Fuoyk, Sarah was reported to be a prostitute and was most likely invited the same way as Orine. But unlike all of the others, her murder occurred in another place, still yet to be discovered. However, the way in which she was found suggests that the murders of Orine and Sarah are identical with one exception-the duration of their suffering. Sarah Quistus displayed several slash marks upon her skin, which may have taken place before her privates were cut in two. Her torture was long and slow, evidence showing that on several occasions the murderer would let her lay until she was conscious again. It is believed that during one of these pauses that he may have left Sarah and returned to the house where he coated Mary's hands with poison. This poison relinquished Mary's life well after Sarah was left with the other five in death.

Iona Smithfield was the third prostitute in this trend to be slaughtered. Like Sarah and Orine, she probably was bought for a night by the murderer. After entering the boarding house, she notices the blood and started to struggle against him. He dragged her down the hallway, kept in silence as she clawed across the wall, loosing a nail along the way. Once inside she was thrown to the floor, which both broke her arm and caused a slight concussion. She was awakening to a searing pain as she was slashed in the same manor as Sarah and Orine. However, he did not let the knife alone there and continued upward until a portion of her stomach was exposed where he removed a newly conceived child from her womb-tossing it to the ground beside her.
